Another amazing aerial shot of the site and an update on the construction

Here's another photo from Bernard, it's an update on the previous aerial shot he's sent in. Rather than me paraphrasing what he said, here's a nice summary directly from him…
There's formwork being built in the northwest corner (top right of the photo) to support the next carpark floor slab;
Some activity in the pit below the res tower location;
Prep work for pouring more of the bottom level floor slab on the south-east side of the hotel lift core;
The climbing formwork for the hotel lift core looks about ready to start climbing;
More holes being drilled near the south-east crane base (we suspect it's so vibration from the hammers doesn't crack the crane foundation or loosen it from its rock socket).

Reinforcing steel is in place for the commercial tower lift core foundation. The northern part was poured yesterday.

Work is proceeding quickly now - the hole will be filled in a surprisingly short space of time, I think.


It's fantastic seeing the site develop so quickly!
