Updates between 25th April and 29th of April

Here are some updates from last week from Bernard. Lots of work at the site! I am still amazed how quickly the lift cores are going up!

27th April -
- pouring another level of the hotel core
- formwork going up for Basement 1 slab in NW corner (some of which is very close to the North Quay Street level)
- post-tensioning appears to have been carried out on the Basement 2 loading dock slab, as there appear to be a lot of trimmed off ends of the tensioning bars lying on the slab near the N site boundary
- prep work for pouring the rest of the Basement 6 slab around the commercial core
- jacking formwork for the res tower core progressing well
- two small excavators hammering out rock in the SE corner, with some column foundation holes dug. Not sure how they're going to lift out the rest of the spoil from there, it would make sense to use a lot of it as fill around the res tower lift pit - that's a big hole to fill to get up to Basement 7 level.

29th April -
- formwork for Basement 1 slab going up in the NW corner near North Quay
- formwork supports for Basement 5 slab starting to go up between hotel area and commercial core
- still digging dirt in the SE corner
- formwork shutters being craned into position for the res core jacking formwork
