Updates between 2nd and 5th of May

It's been a short week but there was lots of progress made. Check out the more detailed updates from Bernard below.

3rd May -
- pouring the rest of the Basement 6 slab around the commercial core
- safety fences going up around the commercial building area
- lots of Basement 1 formwork built on the west side of the hotel core. I believe this will be the hotel entrance & port cochere area
- formwork going up for Basement 5 West of the commercial core
- lots of progress on the residential core climbing formwork - most of the formwork shutters are now in place for the lift shaft voids, with the outer wall shutters still to come

4th May -
- starting to put the work platforms on top of the res tower jacking formwork
- Basement 1 formwork taking shape on West side of hotel core. Some quite large steps in the formwork, no idea what they're for (seems to be under the entrance footpath & porte cochere area, going by the plans from PDOnline)
- formwork still going up between commercial & hotel cores

5th May -
- formwork for Basement 1 continuing to be erected around the hotel core. You can see that it's basically at street level along North Quay & Ann St.
- reinforcing is being placed along that large step in the formwork. It looks like a large 'trench' being formed, in roughly a T shape. The concrete edge of the excavation is being jackhammered out at the western end
- Basement 5 slab formwork still being built around the commercial core
- reinforcing being installed in the jacking form for the next level of the commercial core
- the deck on top of the residential core jacking form is taking shape, with a large section being assembled on the excavation floor near the loading platform on the south side
- a column foundation has been poured at the east side of what I'll call the podium area (the south-east corner of the site, outside the footprints of the three towers). It's a bit hard to see in the shadow, but there's another foundation ready to be poured, and two excavators hammering out rock, while the third is digging out a pit that was hammered out previously. I think this will be the foundation for a fire stair located here, going by the plans.
