Updates between 9th and 13th of May

Quite a few updates for the past week, it's hard to keep up! Check out the detailed daily updates below from Bernard.

10 May -
- Basement 1 formwork nearly complete around the hotel core
- the mystery trenches in the formwork have been filled with reinforcing and silver ducts for post-tensioning cables (there are some good YouTube vids on that process), so it looks like they're large beams to carry loads across the Basement 1 slab
- scaffolding has been erected in the loading dock area, as there's no Basement 1 slab there, but they'll need to support the ground floor slab formwork
-Basement 5 formwork nearly complete around the commercial core
- cladding is nearly complete around the res core climbing formwork
- two columns have been poured in the podium area (there may be more out of sight), and the foundation for the fire stair has had its base layer poured

11 May -
- the ducting for the post-tensioning is being laid just SW of the hotel core
- lots of scaffolding in the loading bay area
- cladding on res core climbing formwork is complete. Wouldn't surprise me if a concrete pumping boom appears in the next few days
- looks like the Western half of the Basement 5 slab around the commercial core will be ready to pour soon - perhaps tomorrow

12 May -

- some interesting shapes starting to appear in the Basement 1 formwork just south-west of the hotel core. This is the porte cochere area, on the plans
- pouring the northern half of the Basement 5 slab around the commercial core
- scaffolding around the base of the res core being removed. You can see a green surface to the core, I presume this is waterproofing, and the void around it will be filled with the broken rock from the podium corner of the site before being capped by the Basement 7 slab

13 May -
- formwork for ground level slab being constructed on top of scaffolding in loading dock area next to hotel core
- shape of porte cochere visible in Basement 1 formwork southwest of hotel core
- Basement 5 formwork being readied for next pour SW of commercial core
- backfilling of pit around res core has begun, using fill from the podium area as guessed previously
