Updates between 27th June and 1st of July

Lots of updates this week, probably the largest weekly update so far. Check out the details from Bernard below.
Don't forget to vote today too - and make your vote count!

27 June -
- looks like no work today
- the basement 7 slab around the SE corner (near the res tower) has been poured over the weekend
- gravel being spread in the eastern half of the podium area, the next step will be waterproofing and reo before the slab is poured
- reinforcing being laid for the Western part of the basement 2 slab near the commercial core
- there's some scaffolding standing on top of the basement 2 formwork at the NE corner of the commercial tower. The slab levels get a bit complicated for Basement 2, and the carpark ramp that's at this location on lower floors isn't present, so I think that scaffolding will support part of Basement 2. Not sure where the slab level will be to the north of it, the formwork level doesn't seem to match the drawings I have.

28 June -
- you can see a vertical bit of formwork being erected just NE of the commercial core - this is where there's a difference in the slab height
- reinforcing and post-tensioning cable ducts being placed for the rest of the loading bay on Basement 2, just west of the commercial core
- waterproofing being laid for the Basement 7 slab on the E side of the podium area, and gravel being spread further west
- in the far NW corner behind the hotel core, you can see a curved line in the formwork. This is the base of the above-ground facade for the hotel

30 June -
- formwork build continuing around hotel. The scaffolding & some formwork is now visible above ground when viewed from street level at the corner of George & Ann Streets (see attached pic)
- loading bay reinforcing well underway between hotel & commercial core
- a strip of concrete has been poured just inside the slab around the SE corner of the site. There was an excavator digging a trench around here a day or two back, no idea what this is for
- Basement 7 has been poured on the eastern side of the podium area (the 'upper level' of the basement floors). There's a bit that looks slightly unfinished at the northern end, this is where the ramp will be to Basement 6
- excavator hammering out drainage trenches between podium area and res core
- a walkway has been attached at the top of the pit wall along the southern side, between the site building along George St and the loading platform
- plastic waterproofing is being laid down around the res core, getting ready for Basement 7 slab
- gravel is being spread in the podium area between the nearest tower crane and the southern loading dock, will probably be a slab poured here soon too
- formwork supports for Basement 2 carpark slab East of the commercial core are going up quickly
- reinforcing / post-tensioning ducts being placed for the remainder of the basement 1 slab north of the hotel
- the large black box near Ann St is the formwork shutters for the inside of the car park exhaust riser. I think this vents out a few floors above Ann St, but I haven't checked the drawings

1 July -
- plenty of formwork activity around the hotel & commercial cores
- basement 2 formwork nearly done around commercial core
- gravel and waterproofing going down for the Western half of Basement 7 in the podium area
- lifting out rubble from the northern side of the res core - probably not much left to come out
- gravel & waterproofing ready around the southern & western sides of the res core
