Updates between 4th July and 8th of July

Another big update from Bernard this week. Check out the details below. As I write this I can see that a concrete pumping arm has been deployed on the North Quay side with a lane blocked off to traffic again. Looks like work is continuing most weekends now.

5 July -
- the hotel core has been jacked up another level
- formwork progressing well for podium 1 level
- loading dock slab west of commercial core has been poured
- reinforcing & post tensioning ducts look largely complete for the Basement 2 slab north of the commercial core
- still a couple of holes in the formwork for the section East of the commercial core
- basement 7 poured for the podium area, formwork supports going up for Basement 6
- a bit more plastic laid on the west side of the residential core, not much visible progress other than that. One column foundation hole has been dug

6 July -
- pouring Basement 2 north of the commercial core
- reinforcing being placed for Basement 7 slab SW of res core
- res core pour after lunch (green truck mounted concrete pump)

7 July -
- formwork deck on W side of hotel core mostly complete
- pouring more concrete for structures against the Ann St boundary
- placing reinforcing cages and pouring columns around the commercial core
- waterproofing and reinforcing in place on West & south sides of residential core, gravel being placed on east side. Looks like still a little bit of clean up work to do on the north side
- pouring another level of the fire stair in the podium area

8 July -
- formwork still going up around the hotel
- columns being poured north and west of the commercial core to support Basement 1
- reinforcing being placed for Basement 2 south of commercial core
- formwork being built for Basement 6 in podium area (including ramp between levels just east of the crane)
- gravel being spread over the last bit of ground between the podium and res core
- still no pour of Basement 7 south and west of the res core, but it looks ready to go
