Updates between 18th July and 22nd of July

Here are some of the updated from Bernard for the past week. It was quite foggy in Brisbane during the week with two days having very heavy fog, one of the photos shows this. Check out my previous post earlier on the week that shows how heavy the fog was.

18 July -
Looks like no construction going on today, just a crew putting signage banners on the commercial core formwork

- the podium level slab on the west side of the hotel core has been poured
- looks like reinforcing is ready for the last Basement 7 pour near the res core, and the first Basement 6 pour in the podium area

20 July -
- more reinforcing going in for the next part of the podium level slab around the hotel core
- columns being poured and walls being built in the northern part of the basement 2 slab near the commercial core (I think this is the substation area)
- the last bit of Basement 7 has been poured near the res tower, so the 'floor' of the site is now complete, apart from a small area around each crane tower
- the first part of Basement 6 was poured in the podium area yesterday, lots more formwork in place for the rest of it there and on the western side of the res core

21 July -
- more formwork everywhere
- basement 6 formwork is rapidly surrounding the res core
- a mobile concrete pump is setting up on the southern loading platform
- assorted concrete block walls being built just north of the commercial core, to form various rooms and corridors (I think these will be core filled when the slab above is poured)
