Updates between 22nd of August and 26th of August

Few interesting updates from last week. Looks like the work on the res tower is finally starting to start to catch up. As usual lately there was work going on on Saturday with a lane of North Quay blocked off to traffic.

23 August -
- Entire slab is finished around the hotel core, columns going up for the next level (podium 3? 4?)
- Basement 1 formwork starting to go up around commercial core
- more concrete blocks stacked up for building walls in the substation area
- reinforcing nearly done for Basement 5 west of res core, starting on East side
- basement 4 formwork expanding in podium area

24 August -

- reinforcing going down for Basement 4 in the middle of the podium area

25 August -
- lots of formwork going up around hotel core. Scaffolding on North Quay side is pretty high
- hotel core has climbed since yesterday's photo
- Basement 1 formwork progressing around commercial core
- reinforcing going down for last bit of Basement 5 east of res core
- car park basement 5/4 ramp poured in podium area
- reinforcing being laid for first section of Basement 4 in podium area
- nearly up to the level of the cross bracing between the support legs for the southern loading dock. The beams may sit between the Basement 4 & 3 slabs

More on 25 August -
Not sure if these column reinforcing cages were for this site or not, the truck disappeared, and I can't see the cages on site this afternoon (but they may be stacked behind the res core). They look about the right size for those massive columns for the res tower.

26 August -
- blockwork walls being built on the north side of the substation area, north of the commercial core
- the base for the concrete pumping arm on the res tower is being installed
- The concrete pumping boom on the res tower has been installed and is being tested, it appears.
- A rail/support tower for a personal lift for the res core is poking up a long way too.
